A. During installation, various impurities in the pipeline shall be
completely removed to avoid damage, jamming, blockage and leakage of
impurities to the valve core. At the same time, the surface of the
faucet shall be cleaned in time so that there is no residue of building
materials left.
B. For any kind of faucet products, it is not
necessary to use too much force on the handle when switching, just
gently twist or toggle the handle. The products with tap outlet and
screen cover shall be disassembled and washed after being used for a
period of time to remove impurities. For products equipped with hoses,
care should be taken to keep the hoses in a natural stretch state to
avoid breaking.
C. The surface of the faucet should always be
lightly wiped with a clean soft cloth dipped in a little detergent. It
is prohibited to use metal wire balls or cleaning cloths with hard
particles. In addition, do not collide with hard objects to damage the
faucet surface.
D. Water faucets that have not been used for a
long time sometimes have problems such as incomplete closing, leakage,
loose handle, loose connection port, etc. Generally, consumers can solve
the problem by themselves. If the screw type rubber seal ring faucet is
not completely closed, it is usually because the seal is stuck by hard
debris. At this time, just remove the handwheel and unscrew the valve
cover, clean the impurities around the valve core, and then install it
as it is before normal use. If the sealing water nozzle of ceramic disc
valve core is not completely closed, the sealing surface may be
scratched by hard debris or the preload applied to the valve core is
insufficient. In case of the former, the faucet can only be sent to the
manufacturer's after-sales service department or professional
maintenance department for repair. For the latter, the user only needs
to remove the handle (handwheel) and then slightly tighten the valve
element.
E. There are two reasons for the loosening of the handle
(handwheel): first, the handle (handwheel) is not fastened properly due
to negligence during assembly, and only the fastening screws need to be
tightened. Second, the selection of handle (handwheel) is poor, which
is mainly caused by premature oxidation and corrosion of the connection
between the handle (handwheel) and the valve element, resulting in
increased clearance, and generally there is no remedy. Therefore, do not
use low-grade faucets as much as possible.
F. In case of leakage
at the connection part of the faucet, it is usually caused by not
tightening during assembly, and only needs to be tightened. Sometimes, a
faucet is perfect in all aspects, but it drips constantly after it is
closed. At this time, it depends on the duration of dripping, whether
the dripping is continuous and the number of water drops. The longer
dripping time may sometimes last for 4 or 5 minutes, and the total
amount is about ten drops. The amount of water dripping is equivalent to
the residual water in the faucet mouth after the water source is
closed, which is a normal phenomenon.
G. After using for a period
of time, if the water output is reduced, or even the water heater turns
off, the filter screen of the faucet may be blocked. Gently unscrew the
bubbler at the water outlet of the faucet, remove the filter screen
cover, and remove impurities. Generally, it can be restored as new.
H.
As long as they are used properly and maintained in time, high-grade
and high-quality faucets will remain as new for a long time.
